■ PRANAYAMA IS A COMPOUND WORD IN SANSKRIT COMPOSED OF 'PRANA' 'AYAMA'. PRANA IS THE COSMIC/UNIVERSAL LIFE FORCE THAT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING US 'ALIVE' and Ayama means to extend and elongate.
